The Legend Of Zelda Series

Nintendo’s, the Legend Of Zelda series of video games were created by Shigeru Miyamoto and is one of its core franchises, having sold in excess of forty seven million copies the world over till 2007. The fictional character Link is the main protagonist and the enduring popularity of the series has led to several manifestations of the Zelda story and the character of Link himself. Link has been featured in other video games of Nintendo as well as part of advertising, animation in television program and comic books. He is characterised in this series as a Hylian boy of Hyrule, a fictional land. His age varies in each game, usually from the pre-teens to late teens. He takes over Hyrule, ambushing beasts, wicked forces and the main adversary of the series Ganon in the process of saving princess Zelda and her kingdom.To defeat the enemy, Link generally beseech Light Arrows and mystic Master Sword or a similar historical weapon achieved through trials and combats procuring magical articles or adopting other means like armaments and musical instruments.  

 Every Zelda theme contains a different incarnation of Link, for every fresh threat in Hyrule, will lead to a new hero. Nintendo’s, the Legend Of Zelda series debuted in 1986 with its release in Japan. In its sequel Zelda II, Link goes on a quest to place a crystal in each of six palaces in Hyrule so that he can later penetrate without any hindrance the palace which is magically protected, claim the triforce of courage and arouse the sleeping Zelda.

The Legend Of Zelda series made waves in the video gaming industry from 1986 to 1997 and later from 1998 to 2001 the first three dimensional game in the series was introduced. In the latest versions of the game, the Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, the Phantom hourglass sequel is set a hundred years into the future which gives an indication of the far sightedness of the games creators and their intention to provide continuous entertainment through wifi and ds Nintendo games...
